Day-wise Itinerary
Day 1: Bhubaneswar – Puri
Upon arrival at Bhubaneswar Airport, transfer by vehicle and proceed for breakfast.
Later, visit Sakshi Gopal Temple, one of the most revered temples of Lord Krishna, believed to be an essential part of a pilgrimage to Puri.
The temple stands approximately 60 feet high and houses the deities of Lord Krishna and Goddess Radha.
Continue the journey to Puri and check in to the hotel. After lunch, proceed in the evening to visit the sacred Jagannath Temple for darshan.
Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Puri.
Day 2: Puri – Konark – Bhubaneswar
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to visit the magnificent Konark
Sun Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site dedicated to the Sun God.
Later, visit Dhauli Hills and the serene Dhauli Shanti Stupa (Peace Pagoda), located on the banks of the River Daya, historically significant as the site of the
Kalinga War where Emperor Ashoka embraced Buddhism.
Enjoy lunch en route. In the afternoon, explore shopping at Boyanika, famous for authentic hand-woven Odisha sarees, or Utkalika, known for Odisha handlooms and handicrafts.
Conclude the day with dinner and overnight stay in Bhubaneswar.
Day 3: Bhubaneswar – Bengaluru
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to visit the ancient Lingaraj Temple, dedicated to the Harihara form of Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu and considered older than the Jagannath Temple.
Later, enjoy lunch and visit Kala Bhoomi (Odisha Crafts Museum), renowned for its exquisite collection of Odisha’s handicrafts and handlooms, featuring live demonstration zones and an open-air theatre.
Continue to the historic Udayagiri Jain Caves, a cluster of 18 rock-cut caves set amidst scenic hills.
Thereafter, transfer to Bhubaneswar Airport for your return flight to Bengaluru, concluding the pilgrimage with the blessings of Lord Jagannath.
