Day-wise Itinerary
Day 1: Bangalore to Deoghar – The Abode of Shiva & Shakti
Your spiritual odyssey begins with a smooth arrival at Deoghar, followed by immersion into the ancient legends of the Santhal Parganas.
Arrival & Assistance: Meet and greet at Deoghar Airport upon arrival, followed by a comfortable transfer to your hotel.
Thapovan Excursion: Proceed to visit Thapovan, a site steeped in mythological significance where it is believed King Ravana performed penance to appease Lord Shiva.
Baba Baidyanath Dham: After lunch and check-in, visit the Baba Baidyanath Temple (Vaidyanatha Jyotirlinga), one of the twelve most sacred abodes of Lord Shiva in India.
Jayadurga Shaktipeetha: Continue your pilgrimage to the Jayadurga Shaktipeetha, an essential stop among the 108 Shakti Peethas, where it is believed Sati's heart fell.
Overnight Stay: Conclude your day with dinner and an overnight stay in Deoghar.
Day 2: Basuki Nath Temple & Departure to Bangalore
The final morning is dedicated to the legends of the Naga world before concluding your yatra.
Basuki Nath Temple: Early in the morning, proceed to the Basuki Nath Temple, a sacred site dedicated to Lord Shiva as the lord of Basuki (the serpent king). The temple is historically linked to the legends of the Sagar Manthan.
Morning Rituals: Experience the serene morning atmosphere and complete your prayers to Mahadev and Goddess Parvati.
Departure: Return to the hotel for breakfast, followed by checkout and a seamless transfer to the Deoghar Airport for your return flight.
Yatra Concludes: Your Baidyanath pilgrimage concludes as you depart for Bangalore with divine blessings and cherished memories.
